Meet Guelph’sMike Schreiner
Mike is a Champion for Guelph
Growing up on a farm, Mike was instilled with a passion for protecting people, animals, and the planet at a young age. As the Leader of the Ontario Greens since 2009, Mike is recognized as a champion for climate action, income equality, and honest, transparent leadership.
Since he was elected as leader of the GPO in 2009, Mike has put the Green Party of Ontario on the political map. Mike is active at Queen’s Park, working across party lines to be a strong advocate for climate action, local food and water initiatives, affordable housing, protecting Ontario’s frontline healthcare workers, small business, and mental health. Mike is committed to putting people before politics.
This place we call Guelph served as traditional lands and a place of refuge for many peoples over time, but more specifically the Attiwonderonk, and the Haudenosaunee. This land is held as the treaty lands and territory with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
